FUCKMUNCH.
That's the only word I have to describe my round-the-clock week of web production hell on the project that has tried to kill me four years in a row: Fuckmunch. Simply, fuckmunch. Try saying it, won't you? You'll feel better. I do. Fuck. Munch.
I can't wait for my job to be over. I'm a few short weeks away from being all-too-available for freelance web and video production and stuff. In spite of my apparent poor attitude, I'm actually quite eager to take on new exciting pixels. Call me? Or I shoot this puppy?
Hey, I'm really in the cool kids club: Dan Gillmor is leaving Mercury News. Stay tuned for news of a possible U of MN J-school Blogumentary screening with Gillmor in the house.
Also, ginormous congrats to Matt Haughey, who is about to become a daddy. I swear you'll get your Blogumentary DVD before Xmas.

Who the fuck is Jonny Goldstein? I dunno, but I think I like the fuck out of him. (I should mention, when I drink a lot of Bailey's and brandy and Silk-nog, I make lots of swears on my webbed-log.) Apparently he's friends with the infamous Seth Appel, aka "the bald funny drunk guy from Blogumentary who stopped blogging even though his URL is in the fucking film". Also, blogger talent show? Hey we could do that!

And Jonny's power suit sounds neat:
I created a short comedy routine, called "Jonny in the Machine," in which I, via the suit, communicated with my future self whose consciousness was uploaded to a bunch of buggy servers in the year 2099. Thus far, I have performed with the suit at NYU, Washington Square Park, Neo(Con)ey Island, Salem College, and public schools in New York, California, and Colorado.

For all you who would like to know "Who the fuck is Jonny Goldstein?" Here is the short version, and here is the long one. Sharyn, glad you dig the PowerSuit. It's on hiatus for right now as I establish other outposts in my still embryonic comedy empire, but it will be back. And Chuck, I love the Blogumentary blog, and think it's rad that you are making a documentary about blogs. So meta. And we all know meta is betta. And if you are ever in NYC and need a blog whore to turn some comedy tricks on camera, drop me a line.
