SCOBLE VIDEO
Scoble sez: "Hi Amanda!"
Earlier this week I had the opportunity to interview Microsoft's intrepid blogger Robert Scoble for Rocketboom. It's slated for Monday's show. Robert talks about Microsoft's Channel 9 vlog site and videoblogging in general.
Incidentally? Julio, tech reporter for the Pioneer Press, told me they weren't able to get this interview. They were told all Scoble interviews had to go through the Microsoft PR department. Score one for little media, eh? (Or at least, score one for being blissfully ignorant of the "proper channels.")
Meanwhile, here's part of the interview not in Rocketboom about Microsoft halting (later renewing) their support of a gay rights bill in Washington state. Robert talks mostly about the rapid and compressed state of information flow we live in. News travels from small-town newspaper to blog to New York Times to international Skype phone conference to podcast... all in a couple days.
