My man Prof. John Schott, aka "The New Media Oracle," has invited me back for some events hosted by Carleton College's Cinema & Media Studies department. These guys are way ahead of the curve, and I fear they'll laugh at my sorry production values. They're full-on vlogging and podcasting. Very cool.

I was at the screening of 'Blogumentary' tonight and had a great time. I think it really took a film like that for me to realize the importance and impact of this We Media Revolution we're living through.

A topic that comes up often at Carleton is the notion of the 'Carleton Media Bubble' - students, while wrapped up in tests and schoolwork, can go a long time without ever watching a television set. Primarily my friends do their news gathering through RSS aggregators in the morning - checking in on their favorite news sources and blogs in one step. But I think all these busy college students want more and are an interesting demographic that is largely untapped by the blogosphere. A news and entertainment pod/videocast aimed at college students that I can listen to while walking from 4th and College to Scoville Hall for class? Anyone?

Thanks for the screening Chuck, I'm looking forwards to the next class.

Chuck, thanks again for visiting! And stop with teh sorry production values thing. It so isn't true like AT ALL. I'm with Scott; I think your documentary really opened up my eyes to just how cool a phenomenon "we media" really is! See you again on Tuesday!

Chuck - I've been thinking about your documentary, especially the part about Plain Lane and the whole mystery (and resolution) behind her blog's disappearance. I was wondering if you'd ever thought of creating a fictional blog behind a persona, or if you'd at least heard of anyone else attempting such an endeavor. I mean, what's stopping us?

Looking forward to seeing you again on Tuesday.

just because you met me, you think I'm real?

check out the Kaycee Nicole blog hoax, which happened before Plain Layne.

i have vague fictional videoblog ideas, but they're top secret. and vague.

Hi all!

I don't know about you, but I've always been intrigued by the lure of Viagra. Now in release for years, it has become something of a Holy Grail for men who felt their best sexual days were long past, as well as giving hope to the rest of us who fear that day when sex fades into our twilight.

And so, after trying everything natural I could find (Tribulus, Spanish Fly, LoveRX, Horny Goat Weed, and VigRx), I decided to try the real deal to see how it compared. Acquiring the drug is as simple as filling out a questionnaire online and paying a small "consultation" fee, then purchasing the pills for anywhere from $1.67 per dose (quantities of 90) to $3.00-$4.00 (10-30 quantity).

Viagra works when a man is sexually aroused, the arteries in the penis relax and widen, allowing more blood to flow into the penis. As the arteries in the penis expand, the veins that normally carry blood away from the penis become compressed, restricting the blood flow out of the penis. With more blood flowing in and less flowing out, the penis enlarges, resulting in an erection.

During love making, I definitely had more stamina and "held out" longer, but not to the extent that one could label me Casanova. However, the fact that I was erect and ready to go only moments later surely was different in that my erection was as hard as ever. Usually, even though I might be able to perform a second time after some coaxing from my hot wife, rarely is my penis rock hard.

In summation, I didn't experience any of the documented known side-effects, which can include headache, facial flushing, sensitivity to light and other. . For me, the drug performed as advertised, but be aware that its documented success rate remains approximately 80%, so there are no guarantees. I'll probably wait until I actually need the product (hopefully in my 90's) before consuming it again, but a new competitive product has come (Levitra) to market that I'll try soon and compare in a future article.
