CAT VLOGGING AT MOOKITV!
Check it out... Mooki has his own vlog! Only two videos there right now, but plenty more in the pipeline. Lori is much better at managing the footage than I am - this bodes well, since she's going to be doing lots of the editing. (Or maybe we'll take turns. Or collaborate. I'm sure I'll stick my nose in it somehow.)
Forget eBay auctions - this is obviously the tipping point for videoblogs.
REX IS IN MY BRAIN
Rex's "farewell interview" is in City Pages. Rex is smart about the internets. Thanks for the MNstories shoutout. Hopefully watch for some Rexxy video action before he leaves for Seattle.
And it's now public that they also sold the next week of videos, this time to Earthlink for another $40k or so. $2 million/year if they sold a year of ads at that rate. Whew! My only wish now is that Andrew relinquish some of the details to a trusted editor and get some sleep. And a teleprompter. And, umm, some sort of special bonus for Rocketboom correspondents. Hahahahahahahahaha!
BEST WEB PAGE EVER

May this graceful American angel hound shower you in fireworks, 9/11 obsession, and the Lord's cigarette smoke. (Did you know? God does not hate smoke. HITLER DID.) Be sure to check out their "blog" which is cleverly arranged in random date order. Innovative!

Videoblogs are a new kind of Web site for distributing videos. Learn how to share your video with the world by creating a videoblog! A variety of videoblogs will be viewed to understand the range of content available online, including personal narratives, citizen journalism, and documentary. Students will create their own videoblogs by learning the basics of blog software and RSS (Really Simple Syndication) distribution, a technology that distributes blogs, podcasts and videoblogs, and lots of other content. If possible, bring a MiniDV camcorder or digital still camera capable of recording video.
BLOG BOY RETURNS TO CARLETON
My man Prof. John Schott, aka "The New Media Oracle," has invited me back for some events hosted by Carleton College's Cinema & Media Studies department. These guys are way ahead of the curve, and I fear they'll laugh at my sorry production values. They're full-on vlogging and podcasting. Very cool.

Grandaddy split up and we are sad. One time? I saw Tenacious D followed by Grandaddy at the Bowery in NYC. That was awesome. Every First Ave show we've seen has been kickass. I think they have to be seen live to be fully appreciated. We'll miss you, Grandaddy.
Looks like DEV2.0 will have to fill your shoes.
