U.S. District Judge William Alsup is Apparently an A-hole

Citizen journalist/videoblogger Josh Wolf has set a terrible record: He's the U.S. journalist imprisoned longest in contempt of court.

Here's the part that gets my goat:

U.S. District Judge William Alsup held Wolf in contempt of court in August, denied furloughs for him for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and turned down his latest bid for freedom in a one-paragraph order Jan. 30 without holding a hearing.

Clearly, Josh Wolf poses no threat to society and the judge is on a power trip, holding him over the holidays and holding him longer than any other journalist. It's beyond reason. It's pure assholery.

This Judge is really out of control. Glad Josh is free, but the people need to remove this judge for his bad behavior. Of course it is very understandable as he is one of Bill Clinton's boys - someday he will get what is deserved, none too soon. Just a really evil person will bad intentions.
