NEW VLOG TOY: Sony M1

Hey look, it's actually Chuck videoblogging this time! Hey, hello there me! I'm playing with my new toy: the Sony Cybershot DSC-M1. Or as I like to call him, "Flippy." You cats try out that MP4 and let me know if it works for you. My understanding is Windows Media Player doesn't play it unless it fetches a plugin of some sort - anybody know if that's changed?
Watch for some video dispatches from SXSW. I think I'll stick with this low-quality setting so I can cram lots of video on it, any maybe not recompress it. Vlog power, brothers and sisters.

(seriously, i need to get some little light to carry with me for this thing - it's terrible in low light or even normal indoor lighting.)

(never got my blog back jay. part of my life is gone forever!)
i just wanted to update -- i returned this camera. because (1) i paid too much for it because i wanted it for SXSW, and (2) it's absolutely terrible in low light, which is frequently when i'd want it.
i'm now looking at the Canon SD350 and better models of that line. Tantek from Technorati had one at SXSW and it took WAY better video than this Sony in low light.
