LIFE EXPLOSION WOMEN
"This is the zero hour."
Go give Juliah a big cyberweb interhug. She's having a poopy week. Rejection letters and more. I know! Let's write her acceptance letters.
We, the blogosphere, are happy to accept your right to write and vent, and to not give up.

Oh dear. It seems some bitter creature posted a seething comment here about his INdTV rejection letter, as though I have anything to do with INdTV. Anyway, it was truly ugly and obviously has nothing to do with the positive energy flowing from my womanly loins, so I deleted it.

Thank you, that's much appreciated Chuck...as is this sentiment:
"We, the blogosphere, are happy to accept your right to write and vent, and to not give up."
Maybe we ought to turn that into a plaque, or a t-shirt or something :-)

An inspirational, vaguely-Christian blog calendar perhaps... hmm....
I kinda like your moppy-do. Is all your blonde gone?

What about an inspirational, vaguely-erotic blog calendar? Perhaps featuring members of the Upper Midwest Blog Managers Association. Teehee.
As for the moppy-do, it has been tamed. Had it thinned out and trimmed yesterday. The blonde is still there (it was just hidden by all the big bulky hair in that photo). But I also picked up a bottle of Special Effects Cherry Bomb hair color. Not sure when I'm going to get around to using it, though, as a) dying my hair myself is messy and b) it would cut into my precious writing time.
Back at it.

Chucky, you are a smart guy. Please visit Barrett's site and see if you can offer any advice.

Do you have tickets to the Arcade Fire? I figure it's gonna be packed (if not sell out) and I don't have enough enthusiasm about them (or the 400 bar) to buy tickets ahead of time. I think if I get in a spazzy mood again I could be really excited by this band, but I've regressed back into autumnal (go figure) alterna-folk sorta stuff again (in part to make a mix CD for my dad that I thnk he might like).

Jonathan, I hope the mood strikes you because you so need to get spazzy about them. Seriously. They're freaking awesome. And I would love to see some other folks I know there. I think Cheek/Mark is going too.

Dude... everyone over to our place before the show. I'll see if I can get a few tickets today at the 400 bar.

Oh and tonight? $1 brew at Town Hall Brewery -- Urge Overkill in the mainroom! Come out and spaz!

Whoa... I just read a really nasty INDTV
