VID#3: WELCOME TO THE FUTURE

Vlogweek_tues

My third vid for videoblogging week 2005. Tuesday night we went to see one of my favorite bands, The Soundtrack Of Our Lives. They rock. They played at a sucky-ass club. Actually the sound is pretty good, but the staff and other offerings are lame. Particularly the asshole manager who tried to take my camera and "detain" me for capturing some footage with my still camera - never mind that there were phone cameras as far as the eye could see doing the same thing. So this video addresses some of the issues and frustrations of idiotic copyright friction. I'm still in love with "Sister Surround" but don't know their whole catalog. The radio geek in me thinks the intro would make a great theme song or bumper music. Speaking of radio, Chuck & Joel return to Radio K on Sun. 4/17 for Terri's "Sunday Special" and pledge drive time.

Chuck, you rule. Can I go to Fine Line jail?

Yes, join me in Fine Line Jail!

The dude just kept getting more and more pissed because I wouldn't do anything he told me to do. When I told him he couldn't put me in Fine Line Jail, he's yelling "I can do whatever the fuck I want!!! This is my club!!! You broke the policy!!!!!"

Then I said uhh, no you can't -- and sarcastically asked him if he had a private army. And I believe he said yes.

Fuckers.
