BabyfingerI swear, we need some kind of revolution against corporate moneyed interests. And government. And organized religion. And...

  • Bush administration eliminating 19-year-old international terrorism report because it shows incidents of terrorism at an all-time high in 2004. Are you fucking kidding me? This administration would rather stick its head further up its ass than share the truth of its failures with the American people. [via New Patriot]

  • Feds' weather information could go dark. In other words, Sen. Rick Santorum wants to pull the plug on the National Weather Service web site and free weather information. This, to protect AccuWeather and The Weather Channel's obviously flawed business models from government competition. Umm, hello? The NWS has always provided free weather? Santorum's corporate reacharound is disgraceful. Get these greedy slimeballs out of office - they're not there to serve us.

  • Congress confuses file sharing with manslaughter.

Making a movie available electronically prior to its release can now result in a three year sentence, thanks to the Family Entertainment and Copyright Act approved Tuesday by the House. [...] The bill also calls for three years in cases where a person is caught recording a movie in a theater with a camcorder - and six years for a second offence. It also indemnifies theater operators against all criminal and civil liabilities arising from detaining suspects "in a reasonable manner." (Welcome to movie jail.)

You've. Got. To. Be. Fucking. Kidding. Me. This video explains my feelings on the matter. I'd like to see massive amounts of people take to movie theaters with cameras. Treating a bootlegger like a hardcore criminal who has killed another human being? What the fuck? You cannot seriously expect me to equate protecting another failing business model with killing people. Get your mouth off the corporate cock, Sen. Orrin Hatch.

  • Sen. Hatch has also introduced this beauty: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States authorizing Congress to prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States. Don't even get me started. Maybe they're trying to give performance artists a boost?

  • After all of that, I don't even really care that the New Pope condemns Spain gay bill. I mean, the Pope is obsolete anyway.

This guy has hit it on the nose. I couldn't have put it better myself, although, I would have put more profanities in it. U.S. Citizens in particular take note, read this post at Blogumentary! [Read More]

The three of them together form an unholy trinity, Chuck. Just last week I was talking to my mum about the State and the Church and how restrictions should be put in place to stop them from getting in bed together. And then I bought The Corporation and realised that I'd overlooked the puppetma$ter, with the emphasis there on the "$".

Absolutely. Woo, I really need The Corporation DVD. Oh no, consumer lust! Run!
