"It's very much like being on life support"

In the interest of disclosure, I'm an independent and I support Obama.

I don't get those who thought there was a chance after PA. It was over on tsunami Tuesday. Everything after that has been nothing but further fracturing of the Dem. party. I respect the other Republican candidates for stepping aside after McCain had won several races. They placed the unity of their party above ego frotterage.

Regarding primaries and caucuses in general, it's nice that more states actually "matter" this time around but that's just a sign that the process needs an overhaul so that all states' input is relevent every election.
