Garden Round-up: Early Spring Edition
Lettuce? I hope so, it is growing in between our patio bricks, but I'll take whatever volunteers I can get.
Hey! Lettuce where I actually planted it, but thanks to the heavy rain 2 days later - a radish! I've actually got radishes and what I think is Green Leaf lettuce all over the place in a corner of the garden. Hopefully I can get some totally hassle free greens outta the deal huh?
BTW, the sticks are to keep the neighbor cats from using my garden as a giant litter box - which they do otherwise. It seems to work, plus, bonus! It keeps the squirrels from digging too. Normally they can't resist the fresh, clean black dirt.
A Hyacinth coming up and blooming after 3 years? Why not the Crocus did it. Copy cat.

Nick planted our lettuce on Sunday. My fave is the Red Oak Leaf Lettuce. I can't wait.

Oh, yeah it's so pretty! I have a packet of that too, but I haven't planted it yet.

I have replanted my snap peas and replicated your stick maze in one of my patio pots (great idea and very eco-friendly... just trim trees and voila!).
Darn smartypants squirrels!
