That was sweet.
And how did you get so lucky? Your evil neighbors are moving...while my most beloved neighbors bailed, and the evil ones are all around me. Sigh.

First of all, cool mom. Second, a fountain beats a lawn mower any day. Third, nice video, I enjoyed it.

You have no idea how much this video, especially the re-enactment at the end, fits in with so much of what I've been thinking about vlogs and vloggers in general lately, Chuck. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but this entry struck me as being quietly subversive. And I liked that. A lot.
(Let's just say that I think a lot of vloggers are re-enacting a lot of things. Just without 're' bit.)

ryan and i want to know how you got that cat so fat?
table scraps?
we believe in you chuck and whatever diet products you help sell. be cool to see videos of before and after.
especially if the product is those diet speed pills...and we get to see the people tweaking out.
happy birthday chuck.
its my birthday too.

Yes I am pretty lucky, even with the noisy neighbors.
Quietly subversive eh? No, not intentional... I accidentally wasn't recording when I first saw the fountain, and was disappointed at missing that moment. I thought a reenactment would be funny, but it'd be all-too-easy to cut it like I was seeing it for the first time.
Yes, lots of acting in the vlogs. My mom was actually acting there, pretending to be stunned that I was filming when she knew. People act differently in front of the camera, even if you're by yourself... the very act of observation changes the observed.

i do believe that second post was jay, speaking through ryan as His Vessel.
my mom is totally badass. my grandma was too.
i wish i had video of my mom talking about her stupid neighbor, cuz she kept whispering and calling him a fucker. (let's give it up for moms that swear!)

Ed Helms did a re-enactment of a guy who resusitated a chicken, but the guy didn't re-enact it well enough so Ed Helms brought in a real actor to re-enact the chicken resusitation.
